In 2024, the tenth anniversary season of the «Tavrida» art cluster, which included 9 educational sessions, started in Moscow at the site of the International Exhibition and Forum «Russia». All other sessions were traditionally held in Crimea and in Sudak, at the site of the «Tavrida» art cluster. Young people aged 18 to 35 from 89 regions of Russia, as well as citizens of foreign countries participated in the educational sessions.
The first session of the season «Tavrida.ART — only in Russia», which was held for the first time in Moscow from June 2 to 8, brought together 344 artists from Russia and Uzbekistan in the following fields: street art, choreography, puppet theater, street theater and modern music. Participants got certificates of advanced training from the B. Shchukin Theatre School, created art objects in an industrial style, attended open theatre performances, recorded 50 new tracks and participated in dance and music castings.
The second educational «Gagarin Session», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s birth, was held in Crimea from June 11 to 17. 389 young specialists from 67 regions of Russia and Kirghizia participated in the event. The result of their work was an art catalogue, recordings of podcasts on space themes, which have already been released on Russian streaming services, concepts for promoting young artists, concepts for corporate identity and merchandise for the Livadia Palace Museum, advertising concepts and marketing plans for clothing brands.
The third educational session «Russian Summer» took place in the «Tavrida» art cluster from June 21 to 27, 2024. 344 participants from 65 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus and China, gathered at the Crimean site. As part of the event, participants of the art school «The Most Creative City» created 13 concepts of national-patriotic theatrical and musical productions, the best of which will be finalized and performed on stages in the Belgorod Region.
The fourth educational session «Battle of the Choirs» took place from July 1 to 7. Young choir singers, sound engineers and composers from different regions of Russia, as well as Belarus and Kazakhstan, collaborated on joint musical projects, which they presented on the final day of the session. The finalized musical compositions of the participants have already been released on the «Tavrida.ART» label.
The fifth educational session united artists, musicians, dancers and event managers at the art cluster site, who participated in the preparation and holding of the Festival of Young Multinational Art «Tavrida.ART».
The sixth educational session «More than a Theatre» took place at the «Tavrida» art cluster from August 12 to 18, 2024. The session brought together young directors and artists from immersive, plastic and musical theatres, theatre managers, choreographers and graphic designers gathered together on the session. Together they explored new forms and formats of performances for independent theatres, developed their own projects in the field of theatre management, created concepts for performances and developed merch for the Moscow Drama Theatre named after A. S. Pushkin.
The eighth educational session «Union State: the Art of Being Together» took place from September 9 to 15. The session gathered more than 350 participants from 62 regions of Russia including 80 creators from the Republic of Belarus. Participants of the art school of museum affairs developed 7 development concepts for 4 spaces of the Livadia Palace Museum. Participants created an exhibition that included more than 10 hand-woven decorative art items at the decorative art school. The exposition was included into the collection of the Vetkovsky Museum of Old Believers and Belarusian traditions of the Gomel region of the Republic of Belarus
The ninth and final educational session was called «Science as Art 2.0» and took place in Crimea from September 19 to 25. The event united more than 360 participants from 69 regions of Russia. They were young scientists, engineers, IT specialists, ecologists, cooks, architects, urbanists, musicians, designers and bloggers, aged 18 to 35, who wanted to make better their creative potential in the scientific field. Participants of the hardscape art school developed 26 projects for art objects, as well as functional zones and recreation areas, some of which will appear on the territory of the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries.
The ’Rosmolodezh.Grants’ competition was held as part of the educational sessions of the «Tavrida» art cluster. 26 project authors received recommendations for grants from federal experts in the amount of 16,908,000 rubles.
